The Como Hotel – Transition Areas

With a project like the Como Hotel, where there were large feature greenery installations in two distinct areas, it was important to install some greenery in the transition zones between the Bar and Dining Room to create an overall sense of cohesiveness.

Starting with the foyer, we used H-2622/4 - 4' Split Philo Plant in large white pots to add some greenery to the entrance foyer, while also providing a visual connection with the live plants in large pots outside.

In between the Dining Area and the Bar there were a number of metal partitions.  To tie in with the pothos greenery used in both areas, we entwined H-9119 Pothos Garland around the trellises.

In between the Dining Area and the kitchen, the client installed an overhead shelf much like the one in the Bar.  To create a similar effect to the cascading greenery in the bar, but to avoid it hanging too low in this busy thoroughfare, we used H-2008 Pothos Hanging Bush instead.
